Why GREEN?

The simple answer: Green is better for the health and well-being of people, and better for the environment we live, learn and work in.

Why Now?

Recent advancements in the cleaning industry have lead to products that perform as well of better than their traditional counterparts.  These advancements have lead to pricing for green products that is competitive with traditional products.

How does green lower costs?

When green products are combined with best practice, high performance cleaning processes, a facility manager can lower the total cost to clean a facility.  Not bad, considering it is better for people and the environment too.  Additionally, improved health and well being can lead to lower absenteeism rates, and increased productivity.

Entranceway matting

Proper matting is a critical component of a successful green program. Entryway mats are designed to remove dirt and moisture from shoes – keeping it out of the building in the first place. Mats should be a minimum of 3 to 4 stride lengths, approximately 12 to 15 feet, for maximum effectiveness at capturing soil before it enters the building.

Microfiber mops and cloths

Compared to traditional mops, microfiber has a number of green cleaning advantages; microfiber material uses less cleaning chemicals and water, microfiber pads can be changed frequently to reduce cross-contamination and, when used dry, they do a better job of capturing dust that otherwise can affect the health of building occupants.

Toxic Chemicals

Toxic chemicals found in many cleaning products can jeopardize the health of janitorial workers and other building occupants. Several states and local governments have found that switching to “greener cleaners” has improved indoor air quality, reduced complaints among janitorial staff and even saved them money.

Green CleaningGreen Cleaning is using cleaning products that don't endanger you, children or the environment. This is especially important for people who have asthma.
