1979 brought the first move to a bigger building on Central Ave with 2500 sq ft. Business continued to grow with the need for quality products in a steady growing area. 1982 found Alpha Chemical again needing a larger location and so he packed up, moved to 3rd Avenue North and put down roots. Over the next 20 years the company grew in employees and customers. The 4000 square feet housed more and more products and a vacuum repair department was opened at one end of the store. Selling quality products with a 100% money back guarantee brought more loyal customers to Alpha’s door. As time went by, Bill took on quality floor machine lines intermingled with more affordable lines with free estimates on repairs. With time Alpha found no more room for growth at this location and again it was time to move. October 2003 Alpha Chemical pulled up roots and relocated to central Naples on Shirley Street where the 7000 sq ft building has already proved to be insufficient space. By the end of 2007 Alpha Chemical will have grown to over 11000 sq ft. with 5 full time salespeople, 4 warehouse employees and 6 customer service and office staff. We now carry all cleaning chemicals, accessories, trash liners and paper products along with safety items, floor mats and matting and a new line of green products for the environmentally conscious customers. In October 1977, William Fereza packed up his family in Cleveland Ohio and moved to Naples, Florida, where he started Alpha Chemical and Janitorial Inc. from scratch. He rented a 1000 sq ft. building on 6th Ave North, filled it to the gills with product and a profitable janitorial supply company was born. He sold mostly private labeled chemicals and built his business around vacuum and floor cleaning machine repairs.
